The blunt-headed vine snake or blunt-headed tree snake, scientifically known as Imantodes chocoensis, has a "super thin" body, large eyes and a super strange blunt-angled head, completely different from other snake species.
This snake is found in the Chocoan forest area of northwestern Ecuador, and also in Colombia and Panama.

The blunt-headed vine snake is usually about 1 meter long and lives in trees. They can easily move from branch to branch thanks to their extremely thin bodies. This strange snake has a huge head, its bulging eyes take up 27% of the total length of the head. The appearance of this extremely thin snake makes it mistaken for having been starved for a long time.

The blunt-headed vine snake is quite agile and is usually nocturnal. It has a unique talent for throwing its head to hunt. It uses its lighter body to throw its head to snatch its prey. Once it has caught its prey, it will immediately inject a paralyzing poison and enjoy its meal.

Although small, it can also hunt larger prey.
Their favorite food is small animals such as lizards, sometimes they also hunt snakes.
The vine snake is harmless to humans and does not actively attack, but its appearance can easily scare many people.
